In with the new..

Well, Micah Jayden Evertse has arrived weighing in at 6lbs 10 oz and absolutely adorable...but I will just have to be content with seeing pictures of the new little family since San Diego is a little far to just pop over for a visit. Hopefully he will stay itty bitty until August.

It reminds me of when Gary and I brought our first baby home from the hospital almost 4 years ago..

I'm such a sap so I had to sneak in her bedroom and take a peak at her as she slept and thank God for the beautiful girl He gave us to start our family.

In other news...we now have a new fridge AND stove. It was well worth it to live out of a cooler for 4 days. .

Just an old pic of what the kitchen looked like when we moved here almost 2yrs ago

Well off to spend some time with my hubby who has unfortunately lost his voice...although I find our house a lot quieter lately...which is only due to the fact that I feel I should whisper since he is whispering

Ever wonder?

So this morning started out like a usual Sunday morning with us getting ready for church, but when Gary went to grab Kerra her morning waffle he noticed that the freezer and fridge were not working. The freezer wasn't such an issue since we have a deep freeze in the basement, but the fridge is another matter. Thankfully we made it work by bringing most of the food to the fridge in the lunchroom at the farm, but I have now wondered what they ever did before refrigerators were invented.
Today is one of my brother's birthdays and the due date of my SIL in San Diego. This is there first baby and we are all excitedly waiting for the news. I will hopefully get to see the baby in Ontario when I plan to visit Mom & Pops in Ontario with the girls.
With the final days of hockey playoffs this week, I know that we will be cheering for our Canucks in the next few days. Kerra is happy to let everyone know that her favorite player is Henrik Sedin and that "he is the captain right? and he has a pirate ship." Because in the head of a 3 year old, all captains must have a ship.
She brings lots of entertainment to our house and her biggest fan is her baby sister Kami.
Kami has passed the 14 month mark, and even though she has been crawling since 8 months, she refuses to walk. Well, I'm sure once she is walking I will enjoy the times that she crawled.
I missed worshipping at church today, since the only service that I could make it to, I had nursery duty. But I'm again thankful for all the new technology out there since I can just listen online anytime.
Wishing each of you blessings this Sunday.
